1. Who we are

2. Your images stay on your device
All image processing happens entirely in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to our servers. We cannot see, access, or store any images you edit with PixelRinse.
3. What data we collect
We collect the minimum data needed to operate the freemium token system:
- Browser fingerprint (hashed): A one-way hash of basic browser signals (screen size, timezone, language) used solely to track free-tier usage and prevent abuse. We cannot reverse this hash to identify you.
- Usage counter: How many free uses or paid tokens you have remaining, stored in Cloudflare KV.
- Cookie (cc_vid): An HTTP-only cookie that links your browser session to your usage record. It contains a random identifier, not personal information.
- Purchase email: If you buy tokens, the email you provide to our payment processor (Stripe) is stored to enable token restoration on other devices.
4. Payment processing
Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details (card number, billing address) directly. We never see or store your payment information. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data: stripe.com/privacy.
5. How we use your data
- To track free-tier usage (3 free uses per visitor)
- To manage your paid token balance
- To enable token restoration across devices via email
- To prevent abuse of the free tier
We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
6. Where data is stored
Usage records are stored in Cloudflare KV, a globally distributed key-value store. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. No image data is ever transmitted or stored server-side.
7. Data retention
Usage records and token balances are retained as long as you have an active token balance. Rate-limiting records expire automatically within hours. You may request deletion of your data by contacting support@pixelrinse.com.
8. Cookies
We use a single functional cookie (cc_vid) to maintain your session. It is HTTP-only, secure, and contains no personal information. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
9. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@pixelrinse.com. Since we collect minimal data and no account is required, most users have no personal data stored beyond a hashed browser fingerprint and token balance.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the date at the top of this page.
